SPEED CAMERAS COMING TO THE VALLEY & ACROSS LA

Watch your speed! The city of Los Angeles is deploying 125 speed cameras, focusing on school zones, street-racing hotspots, and areas with high traffic deaths. Installation is happening now through July, with full deployment by the end of summer.

CRITICAL DETAILS & FINES:

• Locations: School zones, known street-racing corridors, and roads where speeding has led to high accident rates.
• Enforcement: Speeding 11 mph or more over the posted limit triggers a photo.
• Fine Range: $50 to $500, depending on the speed level.

IMPORTANT GRACE PERIOD:

Drivers photographed will have a 60-day grace period AFTER installation before fines are issued.
