Are you a compassionate Angeleno wanting to make a difference in your community? Join the Mayor’s Crisis Response Team! CRT is committed to providing resources and support on scene to survivors of crime and crisis in the City of Los Angeles. CRT is currently accepting applications for the upcoming Fall Training Academy that begins Sept. 17 and is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays for nine weeks at LAPD Elysian Park.

CRT Volunteer Requirements:
❤️Attend an interview session.
❤️Complete a live scan.
❤️Attend a 9-week 62-hour CRT Training Academy
❤️Respond to critical incidents by providing immediate on-scene crisis intervention.
❤️Commit to 1 year of volunteering and 36 on-call hours per month.
❤️Must be 21 years of age to join our team.

Join us for National Night Out! 

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes strong police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live and work. Together, we are making that happen. From 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., neighbors throughout Studio City and across the nation are asked to lock their doors, turn on their front porch lights and spend the evening outside with neighbors and law enforcement.

NoHo Summer Nights

Valley Cultural Foundation, in conjunction with the Department of Cultural Affairs and Council District 2, presents NoHo Summer Nights, a ten-week concert and movie series. Admission is FREE. Community parking is available at the recreation center parking lots, areas surrounding the park and the North Hollywood Metro station.

Concerts begin at 7:00 PM
