AD HOC Committee - Elections

This ad hoc committee is associated with election-related procedures, implementation, and possible issues. The SCNC conducts general Board elections on a 2-year cycle (2019, 2021, 2023, etc).

Any Ad Hoc committee related to public elections must be chaired by a community stakeholder., as per our Operating Procedures, Article VI, Section 1:

ARTICLE VI ELECTIONS

SECTION 1: ADMINISTRATION OF ELECTION

  1. The President shall create an ad hoc Election Committee to facilitate elections no less than four (4) months prior to the election.

  2. Everyone on the Election Committee shall be a Stakeholder.

  3. The Election Committee may have a method for resolving challenges.

  4. The Election Committee may explore ways to diversify the election experience.

  5. The Election Committee may send a representative to monitor the election count.
