Studio City Residents Rally for Monthly Community Cleanup
STUDIO CITY, CA — The streets of Studio City are looking a little brighter this week following a successful beautification effort hosted by Studio City Neighborhood Council.
Nearly 70 local volunteers gathered at the landmark Vitello’s Restaurant on Tujunga Avenue to participate in the Studio City Community Cleanup. Working alongside residents were several local leaders, including board members Andrew Epstein, Chip Meehan, Jerry Lewis and Merci Borden.
A Productive Morning
The collective effort yielded significant results in a very short window of time. Within just two hours, the volunteer team managed to collect more than 60 large bags of trash from the surrounding neighborhoods.
To ensure the waste was handled efficiently, LA Sanitation provided prompt pickup services following the event.
Community Gratitude
Organizers expressed high praise for the turnout and the dedication of the neighborhood's residents.
Looking Ahead
The success of this weekend’s event sets a positive tone for SCNC’s ongoing environmental initiatives. Organizers are already looking toward the future, with the next community cleanup scheduled for the 3rd Sunday in February.
