Studio City Neighborhood Council Launches Monthly Clean-Up Initiative
Local Volunteers Unite to Keep Neighborhood Streets Beautiful
In a display of civic pride, dozens of volunteers gathered for the Studio City Neighborhood Council’s inaugural Studio City Community Clean Up Event. Organized in partnership with Volunteers Cleaning Communities (VCC), the initiative seeks to beautify and maintain the area's public spaces.
The clean-up kicked off at Vitello’s restaurant in the heart of Tujunga Village, marking the beginning of what organizers hope will become a recurring monthly tradition throughout Studio City. Armed with gloves, grabbers and trash bags, participants fanned out across the neighborhood, collecting litter and helping to restore the community’s signature charm.
Residents and local business owners expressed gratitude for the collective effort. Event organizer and SCNC Board Member Andy Epstein “such events not only improve the environment but also foster stronger community bonds.”
