Public Hearing: Proposed Garbage Rate Hike

A public hearing regarding proposed increases to Los Angeles' Solid Resources (trash) fees will be held on September 30, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. in Los Angeles City Hall, Council Chamber, Room 340, 200 North Spring Street. This hearing will address potential changes to the existing Solid Resources Fee rates and consider written protests against the proposed increases. The public is invited to attend and provide oral comments, but these will not be considered written protests. The city is also planning an outreach campaign with webinars, advertisements, and pop-up events to inform residents about the potential rate adjustments.
