Get involved and make your voice heard at our upcoming Studio City Neighborhood Council (SCNC) committee meetings! Here is what’s on the agenda on Wednesday Sept 2 starting at 6pm at Radford Studio Center.

Transportation Committee Meeting

• Ventura Place Traffic: Discussing requests for LAPD Traffic Division and Council Office enforcement on double parking now that Ventura Place is reduced to one lane in each direction.
• Neighborhood Traffic Enhancements: Addressing potential LADOT improvements at the Coldwater Canyon & Hortense "T" intersection, as well as Laurel Canyon between Ventura Place and Moorpark.
• Wilacre Park Parking Fees: Updates on ongoing efforts pressing Supervisor Horvath to rescind the reinstated parking lot fees.

Government Affairs Committee (GAC) Meeting

• AT&T Landline Service: Discussing a potential motion regarding AT&T’s effort to phase out traditional landlines—a move favored by the FCC but opposed by the California Public Utilities Commission.
• Homeowner Insurance Protections (SB 1301): Reviewing a motion to support City Council’s backing of SB 1301. This bill would require insurance companies to provide detailed reasons before canceling coverage and grant homeowners a 90-day remediation period to fix issues and keep their policy.
