Important Update for Fryman Canyon Hikers!

Heads up if you're planning a hike soon: the parking fee at the Wilacre Park trailhead was officially reinstated two weeks ago.

Why the change? LA County previously subsidized maintenance costs to keep parking free, but recent budget cuts forced the Mountains Recreation & Conservation Authority (MRCA) to reintroduce the fees.

Want to weigh in or learn more? The MRCA Governing Board will be discussing upcoming items at their next meeting on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
