Presentation and Reception: “50 Years of Television Production at the CBS Studio Center”
This is a joint event with the Cultural Affairs Committee of the Studio City Neighborhood Council and the Studio City Library.
The event examines the 50th Anniversary of strictly television production on the CBS Studio Center lot in Studio City, formerly the Mack Sennett and then Republic Pictures’ lot.
Los Angeles historians Marc Wanamaker and Mary Mallory will give a PowerPoint presentation discussing the history of television production on the lot, focusing on many of the famous stars and popular television shows that filmed in Studio City. A reception will follow the screening.
